This system is not the commonly found Chinaware. The filtration system is carefully handcrafted by our skilled professionals in our German workshops. We use only selected and proven components. For hose connections and connections between individual components, we rely on high-quality quick-connect fittings (QuickConnect - Fittings). Each system is individually manufactured according to your preferences/configurations promptly.
Filtration Process:
Pre-filters:
In this system, we use patented cartridges from our partner "BLUEFILTERS" for the pre-filters. The NewLine product line is characterized by its simple and practical design. Cartridges are completely screwed in or out for filter replacement, eliminating the need for an additional housing that accumulates dirt and needs cleaning. The used cartridge is disposed of entirely.
(1) The pre-filter contains a combination of sediment (5µ) and activated carbon filters.
- All mechanical impurities such as sand, mud, and other suspended particles larger than 5 micrometers are filtered out here.
- Activated carbon reduces chemical elements such as chlorine, pesticides, and many other compounds dissolved in water.
Membrane:
The membrane is the core element of every reverse osmosis system, responsible for the reverse osmosis process. Water is "split" on a molecular level, allowing only molecules smaller or equal to an H2O molecule to pass through.
We typically use membranes from our in-house brand "FILTROTECH," meeting the highest quality standards and standing on par with products from major brands. Optionally, you can choose a membrane from "Filmtec DOW" in the configurator.
(2) The semi-permeable membrane filters about 99% of all elements from the water. - This includes lime, strontium, PCP, DDT, fluorides, PAKs, benzene, toluene, xylene, fungi, herbicides, pesticides, bacteria, viruses, nuclear elements, and more.
Buffer:
Since the production of pure water is functionally slow, a buffer is used in reverse osmosis systems. You can choose from 3 sizes in the configurator. It's important to note that the volumes are always understood as gross volume. The actual amount of stored pure water is approximately half of the gross volume and varies depending on the pressure in your house line.
As a recommendation, you can orient yourself here based on your household size:
- Up to 3 people: The medium tank with 8 liters gross volume is usually sufficient.
- For 4 or more people: The larger 12-liter tank is the optimal choice.
Post-filtration:
Since water after reverse osmosis is often perceived as bland due to low oxygen, one or more post-filters are used to reintroduce some flavor elements.
(3) In this system, washed activated carbon is used as a post-filter. This is of extremely pure quality.
- Its main purpose is to enrich oxygen in the pure water, rounding out the pure and neutral taste of the dispensed water.
Permeate Pump:
The permeate pump is a mechanical pump that uses the hydraulic backpressure of the buffer and the wastewater. This stabilizes and optimizes the working pressure, improving water quality while simultaneously reducing wastewater.
