This system is not the commonly found China-made product. The filtration system is meticulously handcrafted by our skilled professionals in our German workshops. We use only carefully selected and tested components. For hose connections and connections between individual components, we rely on high-quality quick-connect fittings.
Each system is individually manufactured according to your preferences/configurations in a timely manner.
Filtration Process:
Pre-filters:
In this system, we use patented cartridges from our partner "BLUEFILTERS" for pre-filtration. The NewLine product line is characterized by its simple and practical design. Cartridges are screwed in and out for easy filter replacement, eliminating the need for an additional housing that collects dirt and needs cleaning. The used cartridge is completely disposed of.
(1) The first pre-filter contains a wound yarn made of polypropylene.
- Filters out all mechanical impurities such as sand, mud, and other suspended particles larger than 5 micrometers.
(2) The second pre-filter consists of high-quality activated carbon granules.
- Reduces chemical elements like chlorine, pesticide residues, and many other dissolved compounds in water.
(3) The third pre-filter contains a combination of the first two stages.
- Acts as a second pass to further reduce stubborn impurities.
Membrane:
The membrane is the core element of every reverse osmosis system, responsible for the reverse osmosis process. It literally "splits" water on a molecular level, allowing only molecules smaller or equal to an H2O molecule to pass through. We typically use membranes from our in-house brand "FILTROTECH," meeting the highest quality standards.
Optionally, you can choose a membrane from "Filmtec DOW" in the configurator.
(4) The fourth filtration unit is a semi-permeable membrane. - Filters approximately 99% of all substances from water, including lime, strontium, PCP, DDT, fluorides, PAKs, benzene, toluene, xylene, fungi, herbicides, pesticides, bacteria, viruses, nuclear elements, and more.
Buffer:
Since the production of pure water is inherently slow, a buffer tank is used in reverse osmosis systems. You can choose from 3 sizes in the configurator. It's important to note that the volumes are always understood as gross volumes. The actual amount of stored pure water is about half of the gross volume and varies depending on the pressure in your house line.
As a recommendation, you can orient yourself to the size of your household:
- Up to 3 people, the medium tank with 8 liters gross volume is usually sufficient.
- For 4 or more people, the larger 12-liter tank is the optimal choice.
Post-filtration:
Since water after reverse osmosis is low in oxygen and often perceived as flat, one or more post-filters are used to reintroduce some taste-enhancing elements.
(5) The fifth stage in this system uses a post-filter with washed activated carbon, of extremely pure quality.
- Primarily used to enrich oxygen in the pure water, rounding off the pure and neutral taste of the dispensed water.
(6-7) Optionally, you can also add one or more additional cartridges for refinement.
