UNION-4 ALL
- The UNION-4 ALL installation set includes all necessary parts for the conversion.
- After a one-time installation (approximately 5-10 minutes), filter replacement takes seconds.
Already using an external filter? Simply mount the UNION-4 filter head on the wall at a suitable location and insert the existing 1/4" hoses into the filter head. Done. The filter cartridge is exchanged within seconds with a simple hand movement and a quarter turn.
No need to shut off the water supply. The UNION-4 filter head has an integrated valve. When removing the cartridge, it automatically shuts off the water supply. The hoses and filter head remain securely mounted during the Change.
Activated Carbon Block from Coconut Shells
The filter medium used in the cartridge is activated carbon from coconut shells. Compressed into a block, it offers not only more capacity but is also densely pressed, acting as a sediment filter to remove suspended particles like sand.
Function: The activated carbon adsorbs organic elements from water, removing pollutants such as chlorine, ozone, pesticides, pharmaceutical residues, and more. This also enhances the taste and odor of water and ice.
Highest Quality Standard
"Microfilter" is the world's leading refrigerator filter manufacturer. Each filter undergoes a pressure test for airtightness during production. The water filter is made from high-quality, food-grade materials. The drinking water suitability of the filter medium has been tested by the international organization NSF and certified according to the NSF/ANSI Standard 61.
The UNION-4 cartridge and head underwent stress tests, holding up to a peak pressure of over 25 BAR (370 psi). In long-term testing, 100,000 pressure cycles from 0 to 10 BAR (150 psi) posed no problem. Notably, reputable brands like Samsung and LG manufacture their refrigerator filters here.
Optimal Protection
For good protection, taste, and the highest safety in your drinking water, regularly replace your filter. According to the Drinking Water Ordinance (DIN EN 806-5), water filters should be changed every six months to prevent contamination.
The connections are known as Quick Connect Fittings. To secure the clamp sockets, insert the hose ends into the filter openings until they stop and secure them with a retaining ring. The filter head is firmly mounted at a suitable location with screws (optional). The cartridge is easily inserted into the head with a hand movement and locked with a quarter turn, requiring minimal effort for replacement. The exchange takes only a few seconds.
