Already have an external filter in operation? Simply attach the UNION-4 filter head to a suitable location on the wall and connect the existing 1/4" hoses to the securely welded push fittings. Done.
The filter cartridge can be replaced with a single handle and a quarter turn within seconds.
You don't need to shut off the water supply. The UNION-4 filter head has an integrated valve. When removing the cartridge, it automatically shuts off the water supply.
The hoses and filter head remain securely attached during the replacement.
Activated carbon block made from coconut shells
The filter medium used in the cartridge is activated carbon from coconut shells. It is compressed into a block, providing not only more capacity but also the properties of a sediment filter. This block is so tightly compressed that it also acts as a sediment filter, removing suspended particles such as sand particles.
Function: The activated carbon adsorbs organic elements from the water, removing pollutants such as chlorine, ozone, pesticides, pharmaceutical residues, and many more.
This also removes the taste and odor elements of pollutants, significantly improving the taste of water and ice.

Easy installation
The connections are so-called Quick Connect Fittings. To securely lock the collet sleeves, simply insert the hose ends into the filter openings until they stop and secure them with a retaining ring. The filter head is securely mounted at a suitable location with screws. The cartridge is simply inserted into the head with one hand and locked with a 1/4 turn without exerting force. The replacement is done in a few seconds.
Optimal protection
To ensure good protection, taste, and the highest safety for your drinking water, replace your filter regularly: According to the Drinking Water Ordinance (DIN EN 806-5), water filters should be replaced every 6 months to prevent contamination!
